Additional Information
Set approximately 1 mile inland from the
main N332 and very near to all coastal facilities, the nearest being
Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
Only a
short walk away is the Playa
Flamenca centre which boasts a thriving community of shops, bars and restaurants,
and cafes. The area is also well served by several large supermarkets,
banks and a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes.
In the nearby town of Torrevieja you can visit
the biggest street market in Europe on Fridays.
Sport & Leisure
Within easy reach of the property:-
- 3 major golf courses (Villa Martin,
Las Ramblas, and Royal Campoamor)
- 2 Marinas (Cabo Roig and Campoamor) -
plus the major port and marina in Torrevieja
- Many tennis and horse riding centres,
plus an excellent restaurant, swimming and fitness centre at
Orihuela sports club.
- Many fine beaches, some offering jet
skis, pedalos, banana rides etc.
The excellent road network makes many
nearby internationally known facilities very easy to visit: e.g. -
- Terra Mitica theme park - Benidorm
- Water parks at Torrevieja, Benidorm
and Quesada.
- Alicante - excellent shopping
- La Manga world famous for the Mar
Menor, including golf courses, casino etc
- Inland villages - the main economy
revolves around agriculture and traditional villages, with weekly
street markets - well worth a visit.
Food:
All local supermarkets
supply a wide variety of international foods (English labels available),
fresh bread, fresh fish and meats, plus fresh local vegetables and
salads, making eating in or BBQs a real pleasure.
Dining out, the choice is
incredible. Local snacks (tapas) are widely available throughout the
region.
Many restaurants offer a set
3 course menu, including a drink, with the average price being £4 -
£6.
Children are well catered
for in the majority of restaurants.
